• Device identifiers: A unique device ID used for rate limiting and abuse prevention.
• Usage data: Feature usage patterns, plugin selections, and ask counts to improve the service.
• Push notification tokens: Used solely to deliver analysis results and Live Activity updates.

How We Use Your Information

• Process and analyze content you share using AI plugins (fact checking, summarization, translation, identification, explanation, sentiment analysis).
• Store your analysis results and organized content in your account.
• Send push notifications with analysis results and Live Activity updates.
• Manage your subscription and enforce usage limits.
• Prevent abuse and enforce rate limits.
• Improve and develop new features.

Third-Party Services

To provide our AI-powered analysis, we use the following third-party services that may process your content:

• OpenAI (GPT-4o-mini): For claim extraction, content structuring, and visual analysis.
• Perplexity AI: For real-time web research to verify claims and gather source information.
• Supabase: For authentication, database storage, and file storage.
• RevenueCat: For subscription management and purchase processing.
• Apple Push Notification Service (APNs): For delivering notifications and Live Activity updates.

Each third-party service processes data according to their own privacy policies. We encourage you to review their policies.

Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely on Supabase infrastructure. We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (TLS), secure authentication, and access controls. Content shared for analysis is transmitted securely and stored in your account for your access.

Data Retention

We retain your account data and analysis results for as long as your account is active. You can delete individual items, buckets, or your entire account at any time. Upon account deletion, all associated data is permanently removed from our systems.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access and export your data.
• Delete your account and all associated data.
• Opt out of non-essential notifications.
• Request information about the data we hold about you.

Children's Privacy

Cole is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.
